Newcastle Bar + Kitchen began its journey in 2004 as Newcastle Pub and Grill, founded by Tim and Sam, two friends with a shared passion for great food, good drinks, and creating a welcoming place for the community to gather.

The original Newcastle opened its doors at 6108 90 Avenue, where it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. For a decade, it was the go-to spot for locals looking for a laid-back atmosphere and hearty meals.

In 2013, Newcastle found a new home at 145 - 8170 50 Street, where it continued to serve loyal patrons and attract new ones until 2024. Over the years, the pub built a reputation for its warm hospitality, classic pub fare, and a place where friends and family could come together.

Now reborn as Newcastle Kitchen + Bar, with a new location and fresh branding, it’s not just a community spot, it’s a destination. Combining the spirit of the original Newcastle with a modern twist, we’re here to offer unforgettable experiences, delicious meals, and a vibrant atmosphere that welcomes everyone.
